Job Description

Conduent Healthy Communities Institute (HCI) is looking for a full-time Public Health Research Analyst to support the core functions of the Research Department, including the development, maintenance, and management of health indicators and other related content on community health information websites.

This position supports the work of healthcare providers, health departments, and health collaboratives in their community health improvement efforts across the US.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Maintaining large quantities of quantitative public health data in our proprietary Indicators Management System
  • Using statistical software to manipulate and analyze large, complex data sets
  • Maintaining and curating a database of health and health-related indicators, including metadata to provide context for users in an easily understandable format
  • Implementing HCI platform technology for new clients
  • Providing data support to existing HCI platform clients
  • Working cross-functionally with our Client Services and Product Development teams to address client and product needs
  • Ideal candidates will have the following skills and characteristics :

  • Experience in quantitative data management and analysis
  • Ability to navigate publicly accessible US websites for data procurement
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote office setting
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with SAS statistical software
  • Desire to learn new skills and systems; with a strong ability to learn quickly
  • A Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
  • Preferred experience and skills :

  • Familiarity with public health or healthcare concepts
  • Experience with R statistical programming
  • Experience with Python programming
  • Previous experience working remotely
