1 - First ShiftThe Product Marketing and Training Specialist II - Lifecycle manages the published product information for assigned product groups as well as the development and implementation of sales training and marketing content, promotions, advertising campaigns, merchandising plans, product launches, and public relations communications plans.
This role researches, proposes, negotiates and implements new or revised systems of advertising or communications to dealers, regional entities and end-users for the assigned area.
This position helps guide vendors and partners to develop creative and compelling content to be utilized by dealers and customers following internal guidelines and processes.
The person in this position will manage association and industry relationships with Marketing and assigned product groups.
The person in this position will guide and own key product event planning and logistics with dealers and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.
2.Proactively maintain accurate promotional, positioning and product identity information for Vermeer parts, specialty tooling and aftermarket programs on all published channels, both digital and print.
Includes managing parts, preventative maintenance and other aftermarket promotion messaging, feature / benefit information, literature, photo / video collection, etc.
3. Plan and drive sales training and marketing aspects of global lifecycle, parts and aftermarket initiatives to meet product group and market needs while supporting corporate branding strategy.
Work in tandem with other marketing, product management, commercialization and training groups to incorporate customer and market insights in positioning product launches, parts and related after-sale programs.
Liaison with advertising agencies, translation company and segment team to manage timeline to serve the needs of the product group dealers, regional entities and affiliates.
Coordinate with dealer marketing-communications team to incorporate Vermeer dealer network in regional sales training and marketing activities to support new product and program introductions.
4.Plan, execute and budget for miscellaneous promotional activities and materials for the assigned product groups, including dealer center, Vermeer University and working with supporting in-house teams and external agencies to manage social media channels, content creation, media relations, creative needs, tradeshows, special events, etc.
Challenge the team, agency and business to try the new and different.
5.Create and drive complete product group marketing plans and budgets in partnership with marketing, product group and commercialization leadership.
6.Help communicate and present key marketing and sales training plans, reports and opportunities to product group, commercialization and marketing leadership.
7.Serve as the point person for tradeshows and provide event execution oversight and guidance to the product group teams.
