Consult and liaise with the relevant Aviation Authorities on matters pertaining to airworthiness
Maintain an independent quality system that monitors the compliance with CAAP and Philippines AirAsia, Inc. requirements
Institute and implement an effective audit program including aircraft maintenance and all procedures, which are reviewed at regular intervals
Maintain a system of surveillance, sampling, and random checks to effectively ensure that all activities pertaining to the maintenance of aircraft, engines, components and associated equipment are in line with the requirements
Develop an annual plan and budget developments for sub-department to align with the department-wide’s strategy including ensue budget adherence to the approved budget
Lead SOPs development and amendment to ensure all SOPs align with business objectives and regulatory requirements
Track operating progress and result against annual plan and KPIs to ensure targets are met; develop action plans as needed
Lead the identification of innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
Support the Company safety programs and integrate safety findings into recommendations
Report safety hazards and participate in Safety Services Department (SSD) training as pertinent to his / her work
Work with the SSD for the improvement of safety processes
Responsible for coaching and training team members to acquire pertinent skills and improve performance
