Handle the following major areas of human resources : recruitment, orientation, performance evaluation, benefits, employee relations, Code of Conduct / company policies, inter-office communication, and records keeping


1. Recruitment and Orientation

  • Source applicants from Indeed, Jobstreet, Jora, LGU Peso, Barangay, Facebook, and other potential recruitment sources
  • Conduct reference checks or background checks
  • Prepare employment contracts for the signature of HR and new employee
  • Arrange and / or conduct new employee orientation
  • Prepare and file the corresponding property accountability form
  • 2. Compensation and Benefits :

  • Address issues and concerns regarding benefits (SSS, Philhealth, and Pagibig)
  • Coordinates with Accounting department regarding backlog posting of government-mandated benefits
  • Coordinate with THE external accountant and Accounting department regarding updating of remittances for SSS, Philhealth and Pagibig

  • Follow-up submission of monthly / bi-monthly accomplishment report
  • Monitor employee's status, facilitate movement of employees from probationary, regularization to separation
  • 4. Employee and Labor Relations :

  • Ensure that the discipline and discharge process conform to the rules of due process and comply with the labor laws of the Philippines.
  • Handle employee relations; help resolve work-related problems; conduct investigations; make necessary recommendations to address work-related issues.
  • Communicates with legal counsel for updates and to address employee / labor-related concerns.
  • Prepare corresponding Notices to Explain, incident report violations and follow-up replies; prepare corresponding disciplinary / decision memo
  • 5. Company Policies and Procedures :

  • Designing and implementing company policies and implementing initiatives that promote a healthy and productive environment.
  • Partner with department heads to ensure knowledge and compliance in implementing guidelines of the company policies,
  • provide interpretation of relevant policies and procedures to address labor-related HR issues in both corrective and preventive manner, and guide management on handling employee relations matters.
  • Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Ensures that all employees comply with the policies.
  • 6. Records keeping :

  • Maintain personnel files in accordance with company policy. Ensures all employee data is correct and up-to-date. Ensures effective filing and retrieval of personnel records
  • Handles HR operations such as correspondence, communications, and releasing of employee documents.
