Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Optimization Analyst to be a key member of the Finance Operations Team. This is an exciting opportunity to challenge existing processes and craft new ones as the business continues to grow.

The Optimization Analyst will be able to effectively connect with business partners and maintain a positive working relationship with key partners both inside and outside of the Finance Operations team, while addressing problems and coming up with solutions.

You're analytical, enjoy a dynamic growing environment and are a self-starter. This position reports to the local Finance Optimization Manager.

This role provides support for process migrations, knowledge sharing and data analysis of Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement projects.

Develop process improvement procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Analyze current process standards and metrics in order to provide solutions for improvements.

Perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending in order to develop appropriate process control changes.

Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to develop operational improvement reports for setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions.

Prioritize and implement process change requirements based on the critical project needs.

Inform respective teams on process improvement and re-engineering strategies.

Work with the team to recommend appropriate changes in process / approach.

Build, update and maintain documentation and workflows of process improvements and process performance

Current state mapping of existing processes and address the gaps identified by proposing new process improvements

Collect and document business requirements for project and operational improvement

Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities, and clearly defined end-to-end use cases

Work with cross-functional departments for the creation of new processes, documenting of existing processes, and see opportunities for improvements

Qualifications and Skills

Strong end to end background in Accounting in Finance (5+ years experience)

Solid experience with SaaS technologies (preferred)

Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Strong verbal / written communication skills, including the ability to effectively connect with both business and technical teams.

Proficient in identifying areas for improvement in processes, tools, and techniques and the ability to follow through on implementing these improvements.

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to understand and apply technical concepts.

Proven excellence in troubleshooting and analysis skills.
