Key responsibilities

  • Works with HOD’s and managers in the formulation and implementation of operational training plans
  • Creates, develops, approves, and implements learning and development policies and procedures
  • Implements improvement plans for learning and development facilities, equipment, materials, etc.
  • Assists HOD’s and managers in addressing learning and development concerns and problems
  • Serves as subject matter expert in learning and development for operations and support departments
  • Represents the learning and development team in meetings with HOD’s and EXECOM
  • Manages the performance and productivity of learning and development officers and assistants
  • Facilitates regular and special training courses for executives, department heads, and managers
  • Performs other tasks assigned by the HR Manager, General Manager, and Director or Corporate L&D from time to time
  • Creates strategic training plan for the property based on strategic direction from Corporate HRD and L&D
  • Creates annual training plan and budget based on department training needs identified by HOD and L&D
  • Works with L&D managers of other Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts (MH&R) properties in the revision and rollout of corporate training courses
  • Communicates with other departments all relevant information, updates, and directives from Corporate L&D
  • Key requirements

  • Willing to be assigned in Boracay
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • Must have 5 years in Training, Learning and Development, HR experience in hospitality of the same capacity, an international chain hotel
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Management is required.
