Master Scheduler is responsible for planning Raw Materials and Finished Goods from main Distribution Center to the Plant Facilities of the company located in US, Canada and Mexico.
A Master scheduler is responsible for the maintenance and tracking of supply levels of the company in close coordination with Finished Good Planning Manager, execute releasing of Internal Sales Order (ISO), rescheduling of ISO and Sales Orders (SO) manage delivery and lead times of the main Distribution Center.
Master Scheduler is responsible for creating, executing and monitoring schedule management system. Master Scheduler will coordinate and expected to work closely with various Production departments, Planning teams, Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
The Master Scheduler will also support as liaison between Central Planning team and Plant Facilities. Master Scheduler ensures right materials arrive on time to avoid factory operation delay or line stoppage.
Maintain and track material and supply levels of Raw Materials and Finished Goods of Distribution Center using Planning Tools.
Responsible for releasing and rescheduling the Internal Sales Orders (ISO) and Sales Orders (SO) of Distribution Center.
Plan and Manage Inter-company Deliveries from main Distribution Center to other Facilities. Releasing of Discrete WIP Jobs.
Manage Planning of medium to large Project Orders, or Product Seasonality or expected Demand for Finished Goods items. Monitors, review and execute Out Purchase Plan (OPP).
Recommends and updates Planning Parameters.
Execute ABC Classification and SLD Review / Classification of assign Finished Goods items.
Extracts / generates quantitative information from databases using intermediate coding (e.g. tables, basic queries) Ex. Spend and On Time delivery.
Combines extracted data from different system tools in one single database using tables and intermediate queries (MS Access).
Communicates with resource person to get input / raw data needed for report generation.
Performs data validation to achieve data consistency.
Calculates data using available fields within the gathered information. (basic math). Analyzes gathered information and data using descriptive analytics (basic math mathematics & comparative analysis) Ex.
Actuals vs Forecast, Percentage Gap, OTD%, Inventory Opportunities, Forecast Adjustments.
Prepares standard supply chain related reports based on standard templates.
Extracts / generates quantitative information from databases using basic coding (e.g tables, basic queries)
Compares new data vs historical data (e.g Common Plan)
Follow business process in updating the system to ensure accuracy of information.
Updates Planning Parameters for New Product lines based on the guidelines provided. Act as liaison to ensure workflows are updated and are approve on time.
Updates and maintains inventory database in a timely manner to ensure precise inventory files, cross reference information, parts notes files, purchase order files and vendor kits as necessary.
Communicates to stakeholders if task is complete (e.g setup, for pricing or for sourcing rule, or route to product data management team, collection plan is implemented) .
BS IE, BS OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT, BSBA in Supply Chain, Purchasing or other Engineering / Management related discipline.
2.5 years relative experience in Buying, Production & Materials Planning, and Supply Chain, with data mining, manipulation, analysis and reporting.
Demand management, understanding how to consolidate forecasts and bookings in the system
Bill of Materials, understanding the parent / child relationships that make up assemblies
Manufacturing & engineered drawings along with associated technical specifications
Material requirements planning (MRP Software Systems) for multi-level BOMs
Purchasing for plant maintenance
Inventory management and warehouse management (min / max, VMI, Consignment)
Supplier relationship management
Understanding of pricing and costing structures
Freight domestic and international
Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency
Proficient in other Microsoft office programs : Power Point, Word, Outlook
Good level communication skills for interacting with technical & non-technical people via email or phone correspondence in fluent English
Can provide data in an efficient and understandable manner
Uses Oracle or other similar applications for data entry.
Capable of simultaneously using various systems / tools to complete requests
