Radiant Support Services is a subsidiary of Radiant Logistics, Inc., a global transportation and supply chain management company based in Bellevue, Washington USA.
The primary role of the Logistics and Billing Coordinator will support our Asian billing and operations matters related to data input, scanning documents and basic reporting and follow-up.
The coordinators primary responsibilities will include but not limited to day to day clerical accounting, coordinating shipments, invoicing, generating reports, data entry and collections.
Due to the specialized nature of the industry, the ideal candidate should be familiar with the workflow, general shipment documentation, invoicing e.
g. entry level international freight forwarding fundamentals.
Duties and responsibilities
Input of trade shipment documents, both import and export, incoming invoices and billings.
Collaborate with Operations, and Customer Service teams in Asia & North America to ensure timely update of shipment status
Monitoring International Agent collections, contra settlements and following up on open accounts receivable matters.
Close collaboration with International Sales for company information & support.
Record keeping, archiving, scanning documents and report generation as needed by management
Other duties and assignments as required.
Job duties may be added or taken away due to operational / business needs and requirements.
Education and Industry Knowledge
High school diploma, College degree preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the transportation / logistics industry preferably from an international freight forwarder, logistics provider
Understanding of standard accounting, invoicing, account receivable, accounts payable processes and practices within the Freight Forwarding industry
Understanding of international inward and outward-bound freight forwarding
Proficient in Microsoft Office e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word,
Working knowledge of Transportation Management Software is an asset e.g. SAP, Cargowise.
