Position Description

The Marketing and Communications Manager will be based in the Philippines and has the objective of supporting the department's goals in providing an integrated global approach to help operations enable business development, raise client awareness, and increase both member engagement and candidate awareness.

Locally, he / she is expected to proactively partner with the BU stakeholders to support the BU's goals and help drive understanding of the CGI story by distilling discussions into drafts with key messages, developing and executing a Marketing and Communications plan for each of the programs to support CGI's strategy.

The Business partner is a strategic role that involves partnering with different teams while planning and organizing time and resources so that impactful and relevant Marketing and Communications are delivered.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Aligning to the overall Marketing and Communications Teams Goals for the BU they support
  • Executing global Marketing and Communications campaigns
  • Developing a local Marketing and Communications strategy in support of the BU strategic goals and in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Creating internal and external Marketing and Communications plans that reinforce common messages and themes (e.g. innovation) in the BU
  • Evolving the Marketing and Communications plans during any shift or change in the priorities throughout the year
  • Ensuring messaging across internal Marketing and Communications to help tell a single CGI story
  • Drafting materials, preparing presentations and creating Marketing and Communications for identified audiences
  • Supporting leaders in engaging with members
  • Exploring new channels and ways of communicating to support evolving digital Marketing and Communications practices
  • Managing the Annual Tour and the quarterly All Hands
  • Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • 7-10 years of experience working in Marketing and Communications disciplines, preferably in an IT or professional services company
  • Proven leadership in independently designing and executing multi-channel Marketing and Communications campaigns
  • Team player who understands integrated Marketing and Communications planning, message development, marketing and sales collateral, events management, advertising, and internal Marketing and Communications activities and understands how to create plans and creative briefs
  • Excellent command of English
  • Professional maturity and executive presence the ability to achieve and maintain excellent relationships with the executive team
  • Flexibility to work in a highly-dynamic, demanding environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills
  • Self-starter who has project management skills
  • Degree educated in related field (marketing, Marketing and Communications, etc.)
  • Flexibility to work additional hours in line with business needs and / or critical deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel, as needed
