A Production Team Leader / QC Inspector is responsible for leading team members, conducts product and area inspection, analyze measurements, and oversee production processes to ensure the quality and food safety of products.
Monitor product dimensions and compare the final product to standard specifications
Provide evaluation for products and materials that fails to meet the standard quality
Monitor and document inspection outcomes and provide detailed reports and performance records to Supervisor for data evaluation
Assist in the training of production team members regarding Quality and Food Safety aspects of the product and process
Uphold and enforce the Quality and Food Safety Policy and ensure consistent compliance of team members
Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner and recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
Report any deviations to superiors and Quality Assurance team
Assist the Supervisors in providing directions and guidance to team members
Lead the team in the assembly of product and conduct thorough inspection against specifications
Reduce rejection rate, spillage and spoilage through timely monitoring of product and process; ensure compliance of all members to established procedures and product specification
Monitor production processes and procedures, cleaning and sanitation procedures, personnel hygiene guidelines, employee practices and process compliance
Recommend initiatives to improve existing processes or practices, increase efficiency, and maintain consistent product quality and food safety
Conduct Pre / post Operational checking in the absence of the section supervisor
Assist Section Supervisor on coaching and evaluating individual team’s performance
Enforce the established policies and procedures (SOP, GMP, SSOP, etc.) and ensure sustainability
Foster teamwork and open communication to meet daily production demands and ensure a pleasant and positive team climate
Support the learning of a new team member by acting as a buddy to equip the member with the knowledge needed to execute the job satisfactorily
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of monitoring forms to facilitate traceability exercises
Report food safety incidences and other concerns to allow for prompt and proper resolution
Learn and performs the functions of other sections as the need arises
Perform other actions as may be assigned by immediate superior
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's / College Degree in Food Technology
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a team lead / supervisory role in the related field
Willing to work in Merville, Paranaque City
