Position Summary :
Responsible for planning and directing the flow traffic to and from domestic and / or foreign destinations. Computes duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight and volume of merchandise.
Examines invoices and documents and ensures compliance with federal regulations. Reviews contracts for required clauses and identifies omissions.
Interfaces with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, freight forwarders, customs officers and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment.
