Job Description

Process design and improvement

Process Review and Enhancement Analyze process models as they are (As-is), compare them to the future state (To-be) and determine the necessary changes in getting to the improved state.

Perform continuous reviews of a process or system to align processes (e.g. models, goals, expectations) with changing business conditions and new products and service offerings Work closely with Transition Analyst and other SMEs Operational efficiency Creates data mapping documentation between different sources Document process capabilities & performance Determine opportunities in operations to become leaner and more efficient, e.

g. detect the weakest link of the chain, or what handoffs post the most potentially damaging disruptions · Develop preventive measures and document issue resolution procedures Develop end user solutions

Risk

Review of team's processes and ensure that all processes are documented and up-to-date Performs team's Risk and Controls Assessment (RCA) of End User Computing tools

Qualifications

  • University Business Degree and / or recognized designation related to Information Systems (Computer Science), Statistics, Mathematics or related field;
  • advanced degree (MBA or other) a plus

  • 3+ years of professional experience in detailed process optimization, data governance, analysis and logical processing of information
  • Advanced Excel & Visual Basic for Application skills and experience with database applications, preferred
  • Experience using enterprise planning tools (Cognos, Business Objects, Office 365, specific Power BI, etc), preferred
  • Strong oral / written communication skills required to interact with senior officers and representatives from other Divisions and functional departments
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience of logical and physical database architecture and schema design
  • Experience working with large data designs spanning many hundreds of database objects
  • Logical, structured approach to performance monitoring and tuning
  • Experience writing complex SQL Server programming objects
  • Experience of reporting and data analysis tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Experience of SQL Server Analysis Services and Integration Services
  • Ability to work closely with the business to understand requirements and craft solutions
  • Logical, structured approach (e.g. to prioritizing work, problem analysis and resolution)
  • Competencies :

  • Experience working with senior management and technical teams (Stakeholder management requiring persuasion / influencing skills);
  • relationship building and negotiation skills

  • Excellent team management / leadership skills with experience managing high performing teams in complex environments across complex stakeholder groups
