The Global Assignment Associate supports one or more Global Assignment Consultants. The Global Assignment Associate is responsible for administrative duties, communication with SIRVA's suppliers, and other assigned duties, on all files in a Global Assignment Consultant's case load.
The Global Assignment Associate has minimal contact with clients and relocating employees, but extensive contact with service providers and internal resources.
The Global Assignment Associate must have experience working in a fast-paced office environment and meeting deadlines associated with multiple tasks.
The Global Assignment Associate must be able to gain an understanding of all aspects of clients' international policy and program as well as a general understanding of all international services.
Functions and Responsibilities
Description of Duty
Open files, research / select / place referrals with appropriate suppliers. Pro-active management of and communications to suppliers for updates and required information as necessary.
Responsible for updating system data with information provided by suppliers, GAC’s, clients, and directly from the assignees.
This includes updating addresses, uploading important documentation, changes to client specific information, keeping notes updated in the system, etc.
Answer phones, provide back-up to GAC’s and other GAA’s, and manage daily mail and email requests and other correspondence.
Other responsibilities as necessary to support Global Assignment Consultant, client specific tasksand customer demands.
