E / E Installation Department Responsibilities :
They will conduct regular inspection at the jobsite for on-going installation works and on operation units and see to it that these are within the quality and standards set by the company.
They will attend site coordination meetings and coordinate with other trade contractors on phases of work related to elevator installation as the need arises and upon instruction of the Installation Manager.
They will study and review all contracts pertaining to the pre-installation of projects assigned to him and coordinate with the Sales department on other terms and conditions not specifically mentioned.
They will assist the Installation Supervisor / Project Engineer in handling small projects which may be assigned to them when the need arises.
They will conduct pre-installation inspections of secured jobsites such as shaft size, pit depth, anchoring points of hoist way equipment, machine room and hoisting block outs, and anchoring points traction machine beams.
They will assist the Installation Supervisor / Project Engineer in coordinating with other trade contractors regarding civil / mechanical / electrical requirements for the installation of the equipment.
They will prepare and submit reports related to their work as required by their superior. They will conduct final inspections on elevators / escalators after testing.
They will assist the Installation department in the delivery of equipment crates and report to their superior any damage on mis shipment or short shipment.
They will assist the Installation Supervisor / Project Engineer in performing efficiently all phases of the installation work assigned to them in accordance with the schedule.
They will immediately report to their superior any problems encountered during the performance of their work. They will assist the Safety Engineer / Inspector in implementing all safety measures at the jobsites and immediately report to the office any accidents that may occur.
They will perform other installation related tasks that may be assigned by their superior from time to time.
