Min 1 2 Year Experienced EmployeeJob Summary : The Communications Specialist is mainly responsible for addressing the queries and concerns of the investing and general public.

This role will also provide support during events and attends to administrative tasks.Duties and Responsibilities : Handles incoming telephone calls and answers queries or refers callers to appropriate department and staff.

Handles the company’s public email address by answering the queries, acknowledging the email and endorsing the relevant department and follows up on the status of endorsed emails.

Drafts answers to letters and received by CCD from investors. Ensures that the reply letter is sent to the investor at the soonest time possible.

Facilitates the stock price certification request from the public. This covers the following : sending the request form, evaluating the form received, clarifying information provided (if needed), sending payment guidelines, monitoring payment, endorsing request, confirming availability of form, releasing the document.

Assists walk-in investors who need to file certification requests of have queries about stock market investing or requires information from the Exchange.

The Specialist seeks approval from his or her immediate superior before releasing any material to walk-in investors.Prepares monthly report on calls, emails, visitors, and certifications requests served.

Assists in organizing events, serves as production support staff for activities and program, handles post-even requirements (if needed).

  • Handles the archiving of Department documents.Uploads CCD content on the website.Temporary task : Upload IR microsite contentQualifications : Education : AB Communication Arts or AB Mass CommunicationsExperience : at least two years work experience preferably in a customer service functionKnowledge : Knowledge in the stock market, including disclosures, business and finance is an advantageSkills : Applicant should have above average written and verbal communication;
  • can properly evaluate questions; can handle demanding callers; is a quick learner and capable of multi-tasking; and has good organizational skills.
