Responsible for managing a small group of low level individual contributors. The Business Process Management function is responsible for an end-to-end process analysis, and process improvements through understanding of operating challenges and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
Role creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes. Subject matter expertise is beneficial.
Typically would have some type of certification such as six sigma.
Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function
Responsible for analysis, facilitation, functional training's, mentoring, project reporting and providing recommendations for process improvements that will improve quality, reduce costs and establish appropriate process metrics and improve process controls.
Work in coordination with the senior leadership on project identification, selection, and prioritization.
As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level
Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult
Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities
Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff
Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.
Provides input and support to budget management process.
A College or University degree and / or relevant proven work experience is preferred at least 7 years
More technically sound in area of expertise with broader knowledge of other areas.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
Highly flexible and adaptable to change
Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and / or internal business impact.
Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees.
