Role Overview As a Business Analyst, youwill be part of a highly collaborative scrum team with members on twocontinents.
This is an integral role in product development by ensuring theorganization’s needs are articulated in the user story acceptance criteriaconsumed by the Agile Scrum Team.
In this role you will practice fundamentalsof requirements gathering, system conceptual design, and scope definition. Youwill be responsible in facilitating the shared understanding of businessprocesses and articulating this in user scenario driven user stories.
You willbe assisting the product owner by writing and defining the acceptance criteriafor the user stories included in the backlog.
Additionally, you will assistin conducting functional and usability testing to ensure that the Agile Scrum Team’sdeliverable meet the business requirements and needs.
This role works with Willis Towers Watson’sproprietary and / or industry-leading systems and applications and ensures thatthese are designed and built according to agreed-
upon technical specificationsand quality standards. Key Accountabilities / Duties : . Evaluate, test and recommendnew opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processesImprove the system bystudying current practices and designing modifications to itConduct and coordinateproduct, market, operational and related research to support strategic andbusiness planning within the various stakeholder groupsCommunicate effectively withkey stakeholders and focus on building strong collaborative relationshipswith the team and business usersInterpret and evaluateresearch data and develop integrated business analyses and projectionsthat will be incorporated into strategic decision-
making and will bereflected back to the product roadmapSupport the Product Managerin triaging bugs reported by the business usersCoordinates with ProductOwners in ensuring the backlog reflects correct prioritization and asnecessary decompose and mange backlog independentlyTranslates and documentsbusiness needs into functional requirements.
Liaises with internal andexternal clients for the analysis and definition of the business andsystem requirements, recommends solution together with the scrum team.
Participates in scrum teamdiscussions to explain the business requirements and functionalspecifications to developers and testers and support them in the overalldevelopment and testing until the product release.
Leads backlog refinementcalls, sprint planning, release planning, sprint reviews or demos andactively participates in other Scrum Ceremonies.
Self-organizes and appliescross-functional competencies to create high-value products.The Requirements : At least 5 years of relevant experience as a BusinessAnalystRequires strong business analysis, requirements gathering,and communication.
Willingness to solve problems by being inquisitive andcurious. Strong critical thinking, attention to detail and problem solvingskills are essential.
Experience working in Agile Development environment.
