Job Purpose : This role is responsible to drive sales growth particularly in Sales & Distribution as the preferred cards leveraging on partnership capabilities. Sales Management :

  • End to end management of partnerships to primarily drive cards acquisition
  • Design / conceptualize and recommend sales incentive programs, for partners to execute
  • Create a structure for monitoring branch merchandising and productivity of partner merchants
  • Oversee either an in-house or 3rd party team who will be tasked to conduct ocular visits, mystery shopping and rally partners’ employees to ensure consistent promotion of the co-brand card / s
  • Work within product principles and guidelines and proactively manage partner programs across multiple markets
  • Assist CPP on the negotiations with local / global partners.
  • Financial Management :

  • Define and assess new partnership in markets, which are building scale quickly and showing good potential for cards acquisitions
  • Pursue acquisition growth through partner merchants without reliance on UB decking for a cheaper acquisition cost than roadshow CPA
  • Push introduction of bounty fee for partner merchant to enable them to extend branch incentive programs
  • Product Management (Work alongside the partner Product Manager in delivering the following) :

  • Understanding of the Card product offerings and platforms across the market
  • Where possible evaluate the possibility of extending partner benefits to total cards portfolio
  • Provide insights that may be relevant to both partners and target customers
  • Team and Stakeholder Management
  • Work alongside all cross functional teams and ensure collaborative strategy is developed with key stakeholders to drive business results
  • Project Management

  • Design, implementation, and day-to-day management of various strategic initiatives
  • Drive post promo analysis for future enhancements
  • Participate in meetings and help develop analytics to drive key business decisions based on partnership data MIS
  • Identify potential gaps / business risks and necessary controls in collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Develop management presentations for key stakeholders and partners
  • Qualifications

  • Preferably with experience working in the banking Industry particularly in Sales and Marketing
  • Project Management Skills
  • Preferably with experience on sales management, designing sales visit structure, incentives and spiels
  • Good understanding in P&L of financial products
  • Great influencing and communication skills to effectively deal with external and internal partners
  • Strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
