Description

  • Provide financial support and analysis for IT strategies, applications, infrastructure services for the large, diverse and complex projects that Arcadis IT APAC delivers;
  • Provides the financial support for the checking and approval of all major IT investment project proposals (business cases);
  • Manage OPEX / CAPEX and support budget forecasting
  • Provide monthly financial IT reporting on costs and benefits throughout the IT function APAC;
  • Perform financial IT analysis for upcoming mergers and acquisitions in which IT is involved;
  • Provide specific (Finance) expertise toward other IT departments and IT projects;
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing between operating companies and Corporate and cross operating companies on Finance / IT related matters.
  • More specifically the Finance Controller is also responsible for :

  • Provide, in close cooperation with Headquarter (HQ) accounting, monthly financial HQ reporting on costs, projects and fees;
  • Perform financial analysis on IT APAC cost, projects and fees vs previous year, plan and estimates;
  • Support the Global IT Financial Controller in Europe with specific analyses of IT APAC results.

    Qualifications

    The candidate should have a degree in Accounting or Business Economics and 2-4+ years of progressively responsible experience in an international company, preferably as Finance IT Controller in an operating company or a Consultancy Firm.

    Preference will be given to candidates with the relevant industry certifications or MBA qualification. Experience in a listed company is also preferred.

    Other required experience and competencies for this role :

  • Experience with Project Management;
  • IT literate with strong MS Excel skills;
  • SAP BPC System and or Oracle for input / reporting
  • Mature Personality (strong and independent point of view);
  • Enthusiastic and driven attitude;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills in order to challenge senior leadership;
  • Speaks and understand the IT vocabulary;
  • Self-starter with strong collaboration and team skills (People Management
  • experience is preferred);
  • Willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally;
  • Native language : unspecified, but fluency in English is a must.
