This may include new builds, renovations, or maintenance work. From early design costs to final figures, quantity surveyors seek to minimize the costs of the project and enhance value for money whilst ensuring that the project meets all legal and quality assurance requirements and regulations.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to : Accountable for the service delivery and operational management of the quantity surveying activities of several clients / projects based in Australia.

  • Ensure the team is delivering all outcomes as specified by the client and is meeting all continuous improvement initiatives Lead and manage the team to ensure high engagement, productivity, and performance Analyze and interpret plans and specifications and prepare scope of works Quantify and prepare marked-up drawings using an estimating software Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as per Australian / New Zealand Standard Method of Measurements (training will be provided) Pre-contract and Post Contract Administration, Variations and Progress Claims Preparation of Budget Cost Control and Contract Documents and provide advice on Contractual methods and Tendering Procedure Required Skills and Experiences : Passed PRC Board Exam for Civil Engineers Intermediate to advanced proficiency with estimating tools (e.
  • g., Databuild, CostX, Cubit, Buildsoft, Bluebeam, AutoCAD) Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Familiar with Australian / New Zealand Building Codes and Standards is an advantage With good interpersonal communication skills both oral and written Able to work independently with minimum guidance Can strictly meet project deadlines and can work under pressure At least 10?

    Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably Senior Position / Manager specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
