What SAP Data Archiving and Performance Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health
SAP Data Archiving and Performance Engineering is responsible for design, develop, test, customize, implement, and support SAP Data Archiving across functional module components in Pharma / Corp landscape.
Proactively monitor SAP platform performance optimization includes application, infrastructure trend analysis and collaborate with partner teams SAP BASIS operations, Application development, Business, Cloud, Database and Functional teams.
Analyze production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis, table analysis, database growth, and proactively forecast the table / database growth for better system stability and performance optimization.
Experience in designing, implementing end to end SAP data archiving, purging of standard & custom objects, and collaborating with business, functional teams to document the data residency and retention policies.
Expertise in analyzing the archiving object dependencies, implement relevant SAP notes, setup the automic schedule, job based on the business processes and monitor, report the Archiving object level trend analysis.
Drive as a technical partner in the new development initiatives, system upgrade and ongoing support of the operational environments to maximize operational efficiency, availability, and enrich end user experience.
Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system performance issues with option analysis including but not limited to production outages.
Demonstrates general understanding of hardware / software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.
Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business / functional documents.
Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.
Leverages fluency in technical languages, operating systems, application programming interfaces, and troubleshooting.
Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience
7 years of experience in SAP BASIS, SAP Data Archiving, SAP DaRT and Performance engineering
2 years of SAP HANA experience with dynamic tiering preferred
Programming and application development experience including one or more of the following technologies : SAP ABAP, Java, .NET
Acquainted with Enterprise Job schedule
Experience with PBS, SAP ILM, a plus
Hands on Unix Shell scripting is a plus
Passionate / Self-motivated for on-going continuous learning
Self-starter and love to solve problems through technology
Excellent oral and written communication skills preferred
Excellent organizational skills preferred
