This Procurement Manager role will directly report into the APAC Sourcing and Procurement team and is functionally aligned to the Global Procurement Operations Lead based in the USA.
The candidate will be responsible for the end to end engagement of suppliers in the region, They will liaise with other functional groups including Sourcing, Supplier On-Boarding, and lead the procurement for third party supplier spend across all categories .
The role will be a pivotal position representing the Sourcing & Procurement function with the Philippines leadership and other stakeholders.
This position requires an experienced Procurement Operations candidate, ideally with experience of Sourcing and Third Party Oversight, who will be able to develop relationships within the lines of business and coordinate with sourcing leads and other GSS functions globally, where required.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Lead the Procurement Operations function in the Philippines
Provide support to, and where appropriate, lead Procurement Operations projects in the region
Work with Global Sourcing Category teams to implement global sourcing strategies
Work with the Procurement hubs to maintain and improve the procurement and purchase order process
Support the supplier onboarding teams as required
Support the APAC region sourcing requirements in the Philippines and where required support China based colleagues.
Work with the Sourcing and Procurement hubs to ensure low value, low risk transactions are efficiently supported.
Carry out all in depth supplier due diligence as required
Work with LOB clients and other stakeholders to define requirements for a Sourcing and Procurement transaction
Act as an ambassador for the Sourcing and Procurement function in the region
Be the escalation point for issue management in the Philippines
Evaluate competitive offerings from suppliers and develop and present sourcing options that meet JPMC's business requirements
Maintain compliance with all policy and procedural guidelines
Partner with global and regional teams and clients on local, regional and sometimes global sourcing projects.
Partner closely with internal JPMC legal, risk and finance teams towards the successful completion of intricate negotiations and initiatives
Carry out administrative responsibilities effectively in managing projects and contracting activities
dentify new service opportunities that address or anticipate client needs
Take responsibility for any local Third Party Oversight and Inter Affiliate agreements where the Sourcing & Procurement function is the service provider.
Represent Sourcing & Procurement with senior leadership and act as an escalation point as required.
Key Objectives :
Build and maintain relationships with Business / Functional Managers, advising on Sourcing and Procurement options and strategies
Ensure the smooth operation of the Sourcing and Procurement processes in the Philippines
Lead and expedite vendor selection and purchasing decisions through appropriate sourcing processes (leverage practices, offshore teams and tools)
Develop relationships with the local leadership teams and, be seen as the local Sourcing & Procurement lead across all functions that are not represented locally.

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Specific Experience :
Procurement Operations experience in a large international organisation
A broad range of sourcing experience is beneficial

Fluent in both speaking and written English
Chinese language skill is nice to have but not mandatory

Demonstrable examples of cross border projects is an advantage
