Key job responsibilities

  • Lead a team of HVH Recruiters and Recruiting Assistants that own the end-to-end recruiting process for high volume hourly Customer Service Associates across multiple sites and / or geographies
  • Provides strategic direction and input to sourcing strategies (including vendor management) and the overall recruiting strategy
  • Gives input to labor demand plans and create and manages scalable staffing strategies to build infrastructure and ensure team resource capabilities meet business demand.
  • Evolves and implements strategies based off consistently changing needs of the business.

  • Creates a vision, based upon data, for a team / business and develops scalable strategies that capture the best talent and most diverse candidates at the lowest cost per hire.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Owns the Employer Branding relationship and collaboration to build a country / regional strategy.
  • Manages the analyses of reporting of performance via Key Performance Indicators such as fill rate, quality of hire, candidate experience etc.
  • Lead improvement projects both within the function and across function to impact a positive candidate experience. Also look for opportunities for automation or process optimization with the usage of tools.
  • Manage and own cost per hire budgets through oversight of labor acquisition, advertising and other recruiting costs within the site / country / across geographies
  • Leads and drives regional projects, of increasing scale and complexity, and manages programs through completion
  • May review and give input to close candidate escalations and inspect mechanisms for long term solutions
  • Represent the recruiting team at local, regional and global (if required) level leadership meetings, reviews and discussions
  • Lead / focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives including planning events to showcase Amazon as an Equal Opportunity Employer
  • Lead, hire and develop the right talent in the team and ensure the team is appropriately staffed during Peak seasons.
  • Owns business meetings to review recruiting results updating leadership on all data and details on a routine cadence.

    We are looking for a talented High-Volume Hiring (HVH) Recruiting Manager to help us find the best talent in the world to support our growth.

    The ideal candidate will work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, leading a team of HVH recruiters and assistants who support the mass / high volume hiring process for hourly Customer Service Associates (CSAs).

    The Recruiting Manager owns the HVH function for multiple sites and / or countries. The role leads a team that supports the Customer Service teams’ business need for hourly employees (regular and seasonal).

    Creating a collaborative team environment and a strong candidate-oriented culture that ensures deliver of efficient, effective, quality driven service to business partners is essential for success.

    The role will focus in three key areas : 1) Owning the strategic development and delivery of engagement plans, 2) Executing labor demand plans for multiple sites across sites / geographies, 3) execution of candidate engagement activities, and 4) development of relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to build long term partnerships.

    Successful candidates will be a strategic and analytical thinker who can see around corners and demonstrate a passion for process improvement, candidate experience and onboarding process improvement.
