JOB SUMMARY AND KEY JOB RESULTS
The Financial Planning Analyst is primarily tasked to render effective and efficient recording of all accounting transactions which will also include management of budget for the organization.
The responsibility that goes with this position will cover regular financial statements report generation essential for top management’s decision-making process as well as compliance with fiduciary / statutory reportorial requirements.
The position calls for providing active leadership involvement in ensuring that all department programs are successfully executed, implementing consistently the policies within the bounds of the VMOS, and identifying the critical requirements needed by the department to achieve its performance scorecard, KRAs and KPIs.
Key job result areas include accurate and timely submission of all required financial statements reports, cost, and expense as well as variance analysis and proposed sound options / alternatives, adherence to department budget.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. PLANNING
1.1 Recommends plans and programs of the department as to the following areas :
1.1.1 department budget
1.1.2 Schedule of regulatory reports submission
1.1.3 Improvements on department policies and procedures.
1.1.4 Annual staff development programs.
II. DOING / EXECUTION :
2.1.1 Budget exhaustion
2.1.2 DMI Cost monitoring
2.1.3 OPEX budget compliance
2.1.4 Other reports as may be required
2.2 Preparation of related financial reports and variance analyses for :
2.2.1 Direct Marketing Investment
2.2.2 Discounts Report
2.2.3 OPEX per department
2.2.4 Returns Details
2.2.5 Freight Costs
2.3 Responds to business-related communication matters.
III. CHECKING / MONITORING :
3.1 Checks the following documents :
3.1.1 Project Work Plans
3.1.2 Trade Marketing Support
3.1.3 Support Agreement Form
3.1.4 Freight Contracts and Rates
3.1.5 Other documents to support analysis
IV. OTHERS
Performs related functions as may be required.

BS Accountancy or its equivalent
Qualification : Certified Public Accountant
IV. EXPERIENCE :
With two (2) years solid experience in all phases of Accounting
