Undertake technical design work and design checking for projects in accordance with the Company System, as appropriate to the organization of each particular project, to meet project specific time and quality targets;
Undertake independent studies and analysis; preparing recommendations and conclusion for formal reviews of lead engineers / project managers.
Land development design including road design and earthworks grading, design of utilities such as drainage, water and sewer for residential / mixed use developments for concept, preliminary and detailed design;
Preparation of design drawings, calculations, scheme evaluations and design reports;
Works towards the continuous improvement of the department section by utilizing effective and standardized calculation systems and other design tools.
Provide direction, supervision and mentoring to more junior staff.
Coordination with associated disciplines to ensure that interfaces have been considered and designed.
Undertake financial review for each project handled. Ensure project is within budget and timeframe.
Licensed Civil Engineer with consulting experience
7 years’ experience in land development
Proficiency in associated modern road / land development design software is essential
Knowledge of 12d is highly desirable.
AutoCAD skills are an advantage.
Experience of working on Australia projects is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
