Role :
This Surveillance Technician role is to work as part of a team that provides operational support for in our evolving environment.
In addition to direct operational responsibilities, the selected candidate will participate in developing the operational models, processes and procedures required to maintain and support systems for our organisation.
The successful candidate needs to be able to meet our high standards for quality, versatility and integrity while being able to adhere to our tight deadlines and time constraints
Reporting directly to I.T Service Desk Manager the incumbent will need to ensure all responsibilities are completed successfully and delivered.
Responsibilities :
Ongoing maintenance and administration of assigned systems
Adherence to policies, processes and procedures within the designated areas of responsibility.
Assist with execution of projects related to areas of responsibility.
Provide support for the Surveillance environment; hardware, operating system and applications
Respond to and resolve escalated help desk requests
Develop and maintain documentation for procedures, processes, designs and builds.
Provide training and support to other members of the IT organisation
Deploy software and patches in accordance with an agreed deployment schedule
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure procedures, processes, designs and builds.
Provide training and support to other members of the IT organisation
Requirements
3+ Year experience in Service Desk
1+ Year experience in Technical Surveillance Support
1+ Year experience in supporting Surveillance Hardware
Preferred experience with IP cameras
Working experience with maintaining surveillance environments
Preferred knowledge of Windows Server O / S
Working knowledge of surveillance hardware
Desirable Qualifications
Milestone or Axis qualification
ITIL certification
