  • Responsible for all hub activities and making sure day-to-day operations goes smoothly
  • Responsible for keeping store inventory at 100 % stocking capacity and ensuring nothing is out of stock
  • Conducts quality audit checks and inventory cycles.
  • Prepares the work schedule of dispatch riders and pickers.
  • Attending to the immediate needs of the branch and its customers.
  • Ensures that all operating KPIs of the store and crew are achieved (speed, on-time delivery, complete delivery, etc.)
  • Prepares management reports.
  • Operations : Responsible for making sure that the hub is functioning correctly and following all processes planned by the team.
  • This involves looking at key metrics and continuously improving processes to ensure targets are hit

  • Continuous Improvement : As a branch supervisor, this individual would be the closest to the day-to-day problems encountered by the team.
  • To ensure that our service is always improving, the supervisor should take note of these problems, suggest solutions, and be able to test out new processes to address these problems

  • Team Management : Work closely with his / her hub staff (pickers, riders, inventory clerk) to ensure everyone is operating at optimal levels, following process, and provide a healthy and fair working environment.
  • This will also include performance management - the supervisor should look at data to assess staff performance objectively, and from there, implement incentive structures and / or disciplinary processes.

  • Customer Management : As a branch supervisor, this individual would have big impact on the experience of the customer.
  • The branch supervisor must make sure to keep the customer’s experience at the forefront of his priorities. By continuously chasing an excellent customer experience, the supervisor should aim to improve all processes that directly or indirectly affect the customer.

  • Hub Budget
  • Cascade incentive targets
  • Conduct performance management via performance appraisals
  • Conduct daily stand-ups to align objectives across his team
  • Do daily audits to check each individual’s performance
  • Do attendance and mandatory checks (uniform, equipment, freezer temperature, etc.)
