The Prod Ctrl Sr. Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team.
The overall objective of this role is to drive efforts to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.
Cluster lead with supervisory oversight of FX Exposure team and the end-to-end daily and monthly processes
Support global FX PL Exposure Management Policy and implement necessary control to ensure timely deliverables
Actively participate in hiring and local initiatives focused on improving the hiring process
Work closely and establish excellent business relationships with all areas of the Finance department; working closely with the Trading Desk, Risk Management, Operations, Middle Office and IT teams.
You will be the key contact person for country controllers and processing team for positional break exceptions issue resolution
Ensure that all deliverables are met, regulatory deadlines are kept and audit rating is satisfactory at a minimum
Review the current team structure and performance regularly, ensuring proper succession planning is in place
Provide timely and appropriate escalation, identify and highlight concerns around current processes. Define and drive projects aimed at bringing process enhancements and efficiencies.
Support standardization efforts and projects to implement major change initiatives
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Finance (similar role is an advantage), or a similar working environment
University / College degree in Finance / Accounting is an advantage but not a must and we are open to other majors
A disciplined and dedicated people manager who proactively seeks to improve the existing controls and streamline processes.
