JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
A postdoctoral scholar position is available immediately in a NIH funded laboratory at Penn State College of Medicine, Penn State Cancer Institute at Hershey, PA.
The laboratory is located in the Penn State Cancer Institute, a state-of-art building providing all the necessary shared equipment and centralized research facilities.
2) Investigating epigenetic alteration and therapeutic potential in chemoresistant AML with hotspot p53 mutation; 3) Investigate the role of basal transcription machinery in regulating hematopoiesis in knockout and knockin mouse models.
Candidates should have obtained a PhD or an MD / PhD degree and research training in the fields of Molecular Biology and Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, or Genetics.
The candidate should have evidence of prior productive scientific works in the form of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Prior experience in the study of gene regulation, hematopoiesis, bioinformatics analysis, and / or use of mouse models is preferred.
