  • The purpose for this role is to support the business of our customers through efficient, effective and innovative engineering and solutions.
  • Entry level position responsible for assisting in the design, development, testing and implementation of engineering processes to meet the needs of new and existing products.
  • Assists in the design, development, testing and implementation of engineering processes to meet the needs of new and existing products.
  • Applies fundamental level analysis to provide solutions to rudimentary problems arising within the department.
  • Executes specified options to adapt or improve existing approaches.
  • Applies fundamental engineering principles to the research and / or development of medical device / science / technology and / or provide engineering support.
  • Participates in design reviews and actions assigned items.
  • Ensures regulatory / statutory / legislative compliance for all project work.
  • Executes under very close supervision, follows specific instructions and work is usually directed and structured.
  • Decisions impact short term support engineering activities on consumable products including prototyping, assembly, and test from development stage through product introduction and release.
  • Must be familiar / knowledgeable on the use of common test equipment such as Oscilloscopes; Millimeters; Instron; Pressure and Vacuum gages / meters;
  • and other related fixtures.

  • Testing of components / disposal cassette measuring vacuum / rise time and or processes utilizing laboratory instruments as outlined in the LSR.
  • Rework existing or fabricate assemblies as outlined by the LSRs.
  • Conduct laboratory functions (material handling, general laboratory clean up) as requested by laboratory management.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
