Responsibilities of the Application Manager includes but are not limited to :

  • Ensures current applications are fit for purpose, available, stable, scalable and fully supported
  • Ensure applications are supported by the organization through leading the service transition process during the project
  • Ensure support and license agreements are at par with our business need with the most efficient cost
  • Ensures robust testing strategies and detailed test plans are developed along with the business representatives and executed by the appropriate parties
  • Ensure robust change evaluation and control
  • Operational management of the L2 / L3 support teams and acts as their escalation point including vendor performance
  • Provide appropriate level of communication to customers
  • Ensures application budget is planned, well-documented and accounted
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders in creating an application strategy and roadmap
  • Ensure that SOPs are up to date and shared with the Knowledge Manager
  • Drives left-shifting on his area
  • Driving continuous improvement
  • Skills

  • Experience in working with Banking / Financial sector
  • Overall IT-support knowledge
  • Has service improvement and quality mindset
  • Excellent planning, project and release management skills
  • ITIL v3 / v4 foundations certification
  • Understanding of SWIFT Security Controls is a plus
  • Can work effectively in fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-Motivated and self-starter with the ability to work independently and with high personal integrity
  • Has structured approach to tasks thus enabling the documentation of important steps, action items and lessons learned
  • Strong process knowledge and service professionalism mentality
  • Strong client management skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with peers, senior colleagues and professionals
  • Excellent English skills – both Oral and Written
  • Good coaching skills
  • Willing to work in Makati City
  • Experience

  • An ideal candidate in this position will have an overall Application Management / Service Level Management / Service Delivery experience of at least 5 years.
