Labor Relations :
Point of contact for the Union officers, shop stewards and members of the institutionalized committees (both management and Union representatives).
Manage Union and Management Committees including but not limited to Investigating Committee, Grievance Committee, Labor-Management Committee, Health & Safety Committee and Uniform Committee.
Ensure that plans, programs and activities are carried-out consistent with company’s plans, investment and directions.
Drive and / or execute approved initiatives of the organization in accordance with the labor standards / laws and / or company policies.
Create and / or recommend review and revision of Labor Relations policies; implement and maintain the same.
Administer and support administrative / disciplinary matters; coordinate efforts with Legal & external counsels on labor relations & employee administrative cases.
Conceptualize, recommend and execute productivity improvement initiatives.
Manage disciplinary actions and attend to employee grievance issues including fact-finding, investigation and inquiry; and acts as arbiter between the employee, management and union.
Manage communications to Management on current labor legislation's, jurisprudence, CBA & union-related issues, trends and updates.
Ensure company compliance to labor & regulatory standards and practices on labor relations matters.
Draft various Labor Relations memorandum such as Notices to Explain and Notices of Decision.
Create materials that update and inform management on pertinent workforce issues and union concerns.
Maintain and update information database on various cases handled, disciplinary actions taken against violators, and employee exit monitoring.
Provide HR-related training to line management as needed, including management training on people management to ensure policy adherence, conflict resolutions and productive union-management relationship.
Engagement :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline; Advanced degree related to ESH a plus
Minimum 10 years’ experience fulfilling ESH function preferably in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years of this in a management role
In-depth understanding of Environment, Safety and Health laws and regulations, and related certification schemes and regulatory requirements
Strong knowledge and experience in management systems especially ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001; Management system auditor certification preferred
Significant experience in 5S / 6S, LEAN manufacturing, Six-Sigma, manufacturing process safety controls and systems preferred
Established leader who can demonstrate his or her ability to lead cultural change and implement sustainable ESH Management in support of a manufacturing operation
Able to work at the Head Office, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City as work base
Able to travel to the companies' plants, offices and sites whenever necessary
