Duties and responsibilities
The role requires you to :
Facilitate the team progress towards shared goals, removes impediments along the way, and puts external dependencies under control.
Manages Change and Experimentation
Support the Product Owner on how to structure and prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize value
Work with the Product owner to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals, Product Backlog prioritization and other necessary information to maximize value
Negotiate with all stakeholders to agree how best to move forward and deliver value
Coaching development team on Scrum fundamentals and values
Facilitate and champion the agile methodology by teaching, coaching, and mentoring development teams and promoting the use of standards and best practices.
Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-management, promoting healthy interactions both within the team and with external stakeholders.
Support agile principles, values and methodologies adoption
Help everyone to understand Scrum theory, practices, rules and values
Lead the Scrum / SAFe ceremonies to maximize value delivery and ensure the team practices it effectively
Create and submit sprint reports that accurately articulate the progress of the project, plans for the next sprint, and high priority concerns
Help the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
Maintain a high level of team performance
Collect metrics and facilitating development team effort
Coordinate with other teams
Create an environment of collaboration within the team members that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
Appreciate the depths of Lean and Agile practices and principles to help teams understand and put into practice
Qualifications
Has experience delivering data projects
Has an agile mindset with deep understanding of how agile principles and values work
Has the capacity to translate business objectives and functionalities into clear technical terms
Has the attention to details especially in maintaining the Product Backlog items
Has leadership and management skills to lead the development team and the scrum ceremonies
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Proficient in MS Project, MS Office, Confluence, JIRA (or similar tools)
Is Scrum Master Certified
