The Online Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing creation, planning and scheduling of online and email campaigns, including prospect / customer list segments for Deltek’s GovCon business unit.
The candidate’s capabilities will include a comprehensive working knowledge of html / css, web page creation, email creation and list segmentation.
This is necessary for monitoring best practices and quality control to make necessary adjustments in order to generate high-
quality, cost-effective marketing campaigns. Prior experience with statistical analysis, email and web analytics is a plus.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
Create email campaigns using HTML and / or Eloqua templates to fit the content and plan of the campaign managers
Collaborate with multiple groups to ensure email initiatives are completed on-time, within budget, and with a high degree of accuracy and effectiveness.
Assess all email creative to ensure communications are aligned with internal email content policies and compliant with CAN-SPAM legislation.
Coordinate and maintain the email marketing communications production schedule to minimize fatigue and ensure accurate / timely delivery.
Developing and coordinate list segmentations for upcoming campaigns using exclusions to avoid conflicts and scheduling rules.
Compiling performance data and metrics (open rates, conversion rates, click thru rates, and other key metrics for marketing).
Make recommendations for campaign optimization based on analysis.
Act as liaison with Eloqua as necessary to troubleshoot problems and ensure uninterrupted delivery of communications.
Any other tasks as assigned.
3- 5 Years of experience with HTML, CSS required for email, web page and survey execution.
Experience with email automation and scheduling workflows.
Experience with multi-level data segmentations and schedule planning required. Strong business orientation, analytical aptitude and experience in data analysis.
Must be able to communicate effectively with internal clients (campaign managers, operational leads).
Excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and the ability to work both independently and with teams.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to think strategically and suggest creative solutions; positive, upbeat attitude
Salesforce.com and Eloqua a plus
Four-year college degree or higher with major in Marketing, MIS / ISDS, Applied Math / Statistics, or equivalent quantitative field
Candidate must be willing to work in mid or night shift
