Payroll Auditor - Project Based (3 months)
Job Description Summary
The payroll auditor will be responsible in checking of present and previous payroll instructions and other related files to identify and record data entry discrepancies and systemic problems / issues, reports for completeness, document results of audit and present results to the HR & Admin Manager of Cushman & Wakefield Philippines.
Monitors and evaluates payroll processor’s adherence to company policies / procedures based on inspection of records and observation of related files.
Independently performs audits and assigned tasks to a high degree of proficiency.
Assembles audit results in a well-documented manner to support conclusions and recommendations.
Maintains record of errors on spreadsheet format.
Audit full cycle payroll processed in specified period of coverage.
Check and record discrepancies in calculations of deduction, gross and net salary and premium pay such as work overtime and night differentials.
Escalate potential issues and provide own input for resolution for a valuable discussion.
Analyze issues, help determine root cause and implement workable solutions to avoid repetitive issues.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance Management and the likes
Proficient in Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to fast-paced environment
Bookkeeping or related payroll experience desired, preferably 1 year or more of experience
Knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll systems recommended
Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
Amenable to work in BGC
Can start Immediately
Okay to work as Project-based
Extension or absorption is highly possible.
