Job Description

  • Oversee all areas of the Admixtures Business (H&S, Production, Logistics, Marketing & Sales, Technical Support, Product Development, Sourcing, HR, Finance) to ensure efficient running of the operations
  • Defines the commercial proposition (product portfolio, pricing etc.) both for internal customers as well as 3rd party business development and strategy
  • Accountable for the performance of the business, implements, tracks and reports all the required KPIs (profitability, QC, inventories etc.)
  • Collaborates with other corporate areas of CEMEX : H&S, Global Sourcing, Global R&D, IP, Corporate Communication, in order to ensure compliance with all policies
  • Collaborates with the core businesses of CEMEX (cement, ready-mix and aggregates) to ensure alignment with the company strategy
  • Collaborates with Admixtures Business Managers to share and implement best practices
  • Prepares and requests budgets and CAPEX
  • National and international travel to meet customers, suppliers and other CEMEX operations
  • Job Requirements

  • Significant (10 years +) technical and commercial knowledge and experience in construction solutions, specifically in ready-mix, mortars and pre-cast elements
  • Experience in cross-functional teams (sales, production, QC, finance etc.)
  • Strategic thinker with experience in defining, implementing and managing product portfolio and management strategies in a global company
  • Strong leadership skills : motivator, negotiator, problem solver, communicator
  • Ability to work in matrix organizations
  • Strong English language abilities (reading, oral and written)
  • Education

  • University degree in business administration or economics; MBA is a plus
