Job Description

  • Deliver subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365 / Messaging with emphasis in security, architectural design, migration, management and support of implementations.
  • Demonstrate consultative capabilities by providing value added information to clients for connecting technology, security and the business value of Office 365.
  • Experience with Exchange implementation(s) or another cloud environment ( e.g., O365 )
  • Planning and implementing Exchange platform upgrades and understanding the customer’s environment to be able to modify standard deployment packages conforming to the unique security architecture in place
  • Stay current of all things Office 365, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions. Evaluating the current environment, supporting the creation of a platform roadmap, analyzing systems performance, and recommending corrective and preemptive actions
  • Exchange Server Patching
  • Conceptualizing, designing, and implementing solutions to problems reported or discovered
  • Extensive knowledge of and ability in use of at least two versions of Exchange 2013 / 2016 / O365
  • PowerShell and Administrative Scripting Experience, specific to an Exchange and Office 365 environment
  • Create technical documentation for training of end users and maintenance of the environment. Document system configurations, standards and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least eight or more years of experience in systems support.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the below areas :
  • Office 365 tenant
  • Exchange Online, Exchange 2013 / 2016
  • SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2010
  • Intune (Conditional Access / MDM / MAM)
  • Clients (Outlook, Outlook for Mac, IMAP, POP3, Mobile Devices)
  • OneDrive for Business
  • Permissions (Tenant Security & Compliance Center Exchange Online)
  • Automations / scripting technologies ( e.g. PowerShell, API, JSON, CLI, Python )
  • Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Information Rights Management, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security)
  • Data Loss Prevention, Archiving, eDiscovery and Compliance is a plus
