THE OPPORTUNITY

Plan International Philippines is currently implementing the USAID - funded Marawi Response Project . The project's goal is to support the return to the homes of internally displaced people (IDP) due to the Marawi Crisis.

In line with this, Plan International is seeking committed and passionate individuals to fill two Training Assistant roles.

The Training Assistants will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day running of training and activities be it online or face-to-face and / or consolidating, disaggregating, and organizing data of training completers.

Further, as the Training Assistant :

  • You will aid in ensuring that the administrative and logistics needs of the training program are properly monitored and provided.
  • You will coordinate with partners in generating the list of participants and in preparing itinerary, logistical, and other administrative requirements for live-in training.
  • You will provide, collect, and consolidate the results of the Pre and Post Tests during training and workshops sessions.
  • You will prepare participant enrollment forms, pre / post-test forms, and, evaluation forms and encode training data based on enrollment forms, and maintain its database.
  • You will manage the inventory of training supplies.
  • Plan International is a development and humanitarian organization. In exceptional cases, you will be asked to support emergency response activities in the communities in the project’s covered areas.
  • DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

    To be successful in the role you will need among other things :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Technology Management, Entrepreneurship, or related courses in social sciences.
  • With 2-3 years of experience in assisting training, education program, or database management.
  • Experience in assisting training programs being implemented by Technical Vocational Institutes would be an asset
  • Familiar with working with the youth, women, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), and Host Communities (HCMs).
  • Has relevant training and / or experience in the use of computer systems and applications.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills, flexible with strong work ethic with good written and oral communication skills.
  • Willing to be sent to program field events and activities for training support.
  • Previous work experience in similar projects and or organizations is an advantage.
  • Applicants must be based in the Philippines and a Filipino national.
  • Location : Iligan City, Lanao del Norte
