Job Statement :
This position is responsible for managing our existing team members currently on the bench (or CoDev Talent Pool). The CoDev Talent Pool / Bench is composed of employees with different skill sets but most of them are Software Developers.
The Career Coach is responsible for assisting each employee in the CoDev Talent Pool / Bench with preparing and training for interviews, developing learning and development plans that will help them be more successful in their work, as well as checking in with and working with team members daily to help them progress their skills and abilities and help prepare them to be successful in landing a new position.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Meet individually with each employee to be onboarded to the CoDev Talent Pool / bench to discuss expectations while on the bench
Create and execute a training plan focused on improving interviewing skills to aid in the successful placement of bench employees
Create an individualized learning and development plan suited for each bench employee
Work and regularly meet with sales, customer success, and talent management teams to match bench employees with opportunities
Interface with other Talent Supervisors and Account executives to gather feedback on the bench employee’s interview performance
Input and maintain accurate information on the bench dashboard
Coordinate with department heads to identify tasks that bench employees’ can take on while waiting for successful placement in a new position
Bachelor’s degree and related experience in Communications, Marketing, Psychology, Human Relations or related field is required
2+ years in Human Relations or Training and Development
Experience working in a mentoring or advising role
Must be comfortable with public speaking and be able to communicate ideas, advice, feedback and criticism professionally and concisely in individual and group settings
Ability to recognize weaknesses and develop plans to aid in personal and career growth
Experience in recruitment and / or a team lead role is preferred
Must have excellent communication skills
