JOB SUMMARY :

We have an exciting role in our Makati office as a Professional Services Consultant. The incumbent will provide consulting services for implementation and upgrades for the Sierra system.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Focus on key or critical project milestones under the direction of project manager.
  • Evaluate client requirements
  • Map client workflow to Sierra solutions
  • Identify gaps and develop solution alternatives
  • Develop and lead data setup, conversion and integration plans
  • Educate and train clients on Sierra solutions
  • Develop and lead test planning and execution
  • Manage product and project issue resolution
  • Implementation / upgrade of FX dealing systems for Portal management, FX management, Margin management
  • Includes FO / BO / accounting
  • Typical interfaces :
  • o Core banking Balance check & D / C posting o Rate imports o Liquidity platforms connections o Trade exports o SWIFT exports o Accounting exports

  • Upgrade / Implementation Tasks remote and onsite
  • o Workflow analysis / training o Ad-hoc Training

    o Assist with data / system set-up o Assist with workflow testing o documentation

    o SIT / UAT support Issue investigation Issue replication / work with analysts in development center

    o Conversion and Go live support o Specification writing

    o Testing (regression / custom development / upgrade)

    o Project management of smaller projects

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :

  • 3 5 years’ experience on Client and Product Support implementation preferably in the financial technology field of foreign exchange or money market.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize them accordingly.
  • Knowledge of finance and business concepts.
  • Familiar with foreign exchange trading concepts an advantage.
  • Analytic, problem solving skills.
  • Communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a teamwork environment.
  • Able to read business specifications and assess proposed functionality regarding feasibility and scope.
  • Travel as required per business requirements of clients up to 60% of the time.
