Design, code and test software that will integrate / interface various systems and applications.
Provide support to application end-users
Provide support (troubleshooting, bug fixing, consulting, periodic maintenance) to deployed systems
Provide systems training to trainers and end users
Follow team mandated SDLC process
Ensure that the company’s commitment on environmental management, health and safety is observed and performed
Be aware of the company’s quality and environmental policies.
The primary role will be to develop, program, and implement software solutions to improve business processes, enhance test engineers and production productivity, and tools co-
defined and utilized product and design engineering groups. Much of the work is conducted in a cross-functional environment that requires solid communication and teamwork.
Candidate must possess a degree in Bachelors in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
At least 1 year of solid embedded system design engineer
At least 1 year of solid professional programming on at least two of these programming skills : C, C++, Java, dotNET, Perl, Python, regular expressions, Linux or Window scripting.
Knowledge, skills and capabilities
Experience in Embedded systems using Atmel, PICmicro, Raspberry-Pi or other related microprocessor / microcontroller based systems
Experience in hardware design using either discrete components or integrated components
Experience in hardware interfacing using any methods such as I2C, SPI, RS232, Ethernet, ZigBee, USB, CAN or other related interfacing approaches
Experience in schematic and PCB layout entry
Experience in the use of hardware diagnostic tools such as multimeter and oscilloscope
Experience working in a Semiconductor company is a plus
