This person will perform a wide variety of tasks to assist the Accounting Department including vouchering payables, processing daily deposits, applying cash receipts to the A / R, daily mail and printer sorting, tracking various accounting, payroll and benefits forms, and miscellaneous scanning, mailing and filing as needed.
High school education or equivalent; experience in a computerized accounting environment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the essential functions.
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point.
Ability to perform ten key by touch
Experience with composing correspondence, editing, and proofreading documents.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to build strong customer rapport.
Ability to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize, and is self-motivated.
Ability to speak, read and write in English at the level necessary to perform assigned responsibilities.
Is a positive, energetic and an enthusiastic team member with excellent customer service skills.
