Executive Recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of satellite-based broadband communications.

Our respective client develops and markets a wide range of high-performance satellite equipment, with an increasing focus on the Cellular Backhaul, Enterprise, Consumer and Mobility.

The job is based in Ortigas City, Philippines.

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and marketing a wide range of high-performance satellite ground segments, Cellular Backhaul, Enterprise, Consumer, and Mobility market segments.

The successful candidate must have an extensive knowledge of the product parts and functions and must understand the scientific processes that make the products work.

Job responsibilities :

  • Become the technical lead and point of contact for Salesforce
  • Support customer engagements with technical and commercial support
  • Assist with analysis for customer’s requirements and address technical challenges
  • Create complex network designs (link budget, network sizing etc.)
  • Manage and deliver product presentations / demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Provide internal and external assistance during the sales process
  • Manage the RFP (Request for Approval) process in conjunction with Operations, Project Management and Finance
  • Coordinate and manage Proof of Concept (POC) demonstrations and field trials
  • Support customers in optimizing the use of VSAT (Very Small Aperture Technology)
  • Work with customers to maximize the utilization of VSAT technology in their network
  • Job requirements :

  • Degree in Engineering
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a sales engineering position
  • Extensive experience in networks and transmission systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Excellent written and spoken English (Technical and Conversational)
  • Prior experience in building proposals for prospective clients
  • Experience in RF (Radio Frequency)
  • Experience in Cellular Networks Design (operational aspects would be an advantage)
  • Experience in the Satellite Communications industry preferred
