  • The Ops Sup Analyst 1 is an entry-level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to;
  • record / documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team.

    Additionally, the Ops Sup Analyst 1 serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients.

    The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

    Responsibilities :

  • Perform business analysis and documentation of the current and future state of Client Reports and Advices (client communication letters, notices, and confirms)
  • Provide regular status updates for all project participants and create presentations for steering committee updates
  • Work with various Legal & Compliance teams to obtain sign-off on all regulatory business requirements
  • Serve as primary liaison between the key business stakeholder and technology, including recommending business priorities by advising stakeholders on options, risks, costs, prioritizations, and delivery timelines

  • Create and facilitate training sessions, webcast demos and write User Acceptance Test scripts and business scenarios against specified requirements
  • Create, manage and maintain project plans and act as the project manager for all follow ups across various departments
  • Work on multiple projects in parallel focusing on continued delivery of regulatory client deliverables, such as legal statements / performance reporting / advices / letters / notices
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Qualifications :

  • Previous relevant experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • General knowledge of client reporting across the industry and our competitors
  • Working knowledge of SQL environments and database queries
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree / University degree or equivalent experience

    I. Responsible in ensuring that day to day activities for Account Opening and Maintenance Review is managed and performed.

    This will include the following responsibilities

    Account Opening Review (Day 3)

    Responsible for downloading of Account Opening Reports from system and validating versus actual account opening performed by processing unit (ie Branches, Citi Work, etc.

    in the system. Validates account opening documents versus data inputted in the system by the branches, Citi work etc. Responsible for checking of required account opening documents Coordinates with Citibank NA Branches and Citi Work (CAW) on escalation of exception items (technical deficiencies, document deficiencies, etc.

    for resolution Manages the monitoring and tracking of all exception items and escalation to responsible units until resolution.

    Monitors the submission of supporting documents for account opening and regularization of findings Supports system testing and validation Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.

    Preparation of reports / MIS and other related KPIs. Able to provide back-up support for colleagues under Liabilty Operations

    Maintenance Review (Day 2)

    Responsible for the daily downloading of Account Maintenance Reports from system Validates report versus actual maintenances performed by CRU in the system.

    Monitors and validaterequired documents submitted for account maintenance. Responsible for the monitoring and tracking of all exception items and escalation to responsible units until resolution.

    Perform daily review of FATCA Monitoring and review of cure documents for the US indicia Supports system testing and validation Perform ad hoc tasks as needed Preparation of reports / MIS and other related KPIs.

    Able to provide back-up support for colleagues under Liabilty Operations

    II. This officer is expected to be able to manage the daily volumes through capacity review and project any potential risk that needs to be escalated

    III. Able to decide on situations based on processing understanding and expertise

    IV. Performs a back-up role to the manager / team lead to ensure smooth operations and attends forums related to the process

    V. Responsible in providing key metrics to the lead for review and analysis.

    VI. Supports business initiatives and acts as Subject Matter Expert ( SME) and capable in dealing directly with stakeholders.

    VII. Together with the team lead / manager, officer will ensuring alignment to internal and external policies for the process that the team supports.
