We wish to inform you that the DSWD-National Capital Region is inviting applicants for the vacant positions with details as follows :

A.Position : One (1) Social Welfare Officer II

Place of Assignment : Standards Unit

Salary Grade : 15

Item Number : OSEC-DSWDB-SOCWO2-383-2004

Compensation : Php 24,887.00

B. Minimum Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Social Work

Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training

Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience

Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker)

C. Job Additional Requirements / Additional Competencies :

Training : Four (4) hours of training along technical writing, data

analysis and management or training relevant to


Experience : One (1) year experience on case management,

Accreditation and data management

  • Competencies : Case Counseling; Case Management; Technical Writing;
  • Planning & Organizing; Research Skills; Collaboration & Networking; Proficiency in Computer programs

    Primary Functions :

  • vAssists in implementing social welfare development programs and services of the unit;
  • vLeads, organizes and works directly with the team, demonstrate skills and conducts group work activities.

  • vPrepares and submits project proposals, case studies and other reports;
  • vAccomplishes social case study reports / project proposals and other reportorial requirements.

    vCoordinates with NGOs in terms of implementing social welfare development programs and services and monitors its regulations.

  • Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (January to December 2014 or July to December 2013) :
