Working as part of the facilities and health and safety team supporting the business as the first point of contact for Arcadis customers
Job Purpose :
Roles at this level require a thorough understanding of Arcadis Health and Safety commitment, operations, locations and personnel within the office
Key Accountabilities :
Take responsibility for own health and safety and understand Arcadis Health and Safety Principles
Comply with Arcadis General Business Principles and Specific Anti-Corruption Standards
Perform role in accordance with the Arcadis behavioural framework
Access various systems including telephone and room booking system, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information and notifying relevant people if there are problems or issues
Contribute to healthy, safe, clean and efficient running of the office
Respond to and resolve all types of enquiries and problems, judging when to pass complex queries on to or involve others, to provide an effective service and clear advice to colleagues and customers
Resolve operational day-to-day problems referred from other functions of the business, ensuring an efficient and high-
quality service is extended to all internal clients
Answer routine queries from across the business related to own area of specialism, referring the more complex professional queries to the right department / colleague
Provide assistance to travel arrangement service and to purchasing and inventory functions
Ensure compliance with legislations and standards governing health and safety for employees and the environment.
Maintain relevant health-related documented information.
Collaborate with other disciplines to develop, promote and protect employee’s health, safety and wellbeing.
Provide appropriate case management, clinical and primary health care for injuries and illnesses within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines.
Assist with incident investigation to identify root cause analysis of all incidents and near misses.
Contribute in the design and implementation of controls for illness prevention and health surveillance related to actual and potential hazards in the workplace.
Work with Human Resources in the management of sick leave and safe return to work programs.
Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement of processes and systems
Prepare a development plan with your line manager during the Professional Development Review process and take ownership of achieving the goals identified within this plan
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your line manager or Arcadis.
Dimensions of the Job :
Provide the first point of contact for visitors to Arcadis property and run reception desk and meeting room management
Support office and line manager in the management of the office and facilities support services
Provide day to day office management Assistance to the office, including compliance with Arcadis office policy
Provide support in the prevention, investigation, and treatment of workplace related illnesses and injuries through a comprehensive pro-
active occupational health, safety and wellbeing strategy
Knowledge & Experience :
2-3 years relevant qualification or experience in Occupational Health field is required
Experience in an administrative support role, an advantage
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, specifically MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent talent to interact with people in a positive and courteous manner
Ability to build positive relationships with high level of interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment
Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality
Key Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and must have passed the examination given by the Board of Examiners for nurses and duly licensed to practice nursing in the Philippines
