The position of Director of Outsourcing is responsible for developing and executing strategies to support the enterprise and the associated challenges faced by the Category Managers, internal customers, and suppliers for North America.
This person leverages industry best practices, relationship building, technology and data analytics to exceed business goals.
Works with various teams and leaders to influence outcomes to increase and drive sustainable engagement around the procurement operations activities and customer experience.
You will be responsible for :
Delivering exceptional customer experiences
Developing the Sourcing and Procurement Virtual team strategy
Execution of Indirect Sourcing and Procurement’s back office functions
Developing and managing high performing team members
Work with S&P team members to support strategic initiatives impacting the S&P organization, managing project plans, risk and stakeholder analysis.
Delivery of scorecard metrics by working closely with the Reporting & Analytics team (including NPS, average contract lifecycle time, supplier diversity policy adherence, etc. )
Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders and stakeholder groups at McKesson Business Units and be an advocate for S&P with the business
Proactively identify and implement potential areas where existing policies, matrixes, and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed.
Facilitate direct and indirect employee engagement through communication, cooperation, support, coaching, respect, and recognition
Ensure high-quality customer experiences by fostering an environment that promotes the highest level of service to all customers
Develop 3rd party strategy for Indirect S&P working closely with the S&P Leadership Team and responsible for execution and delivery of that strategy
Responsible and accountable for the execution of our 3rd party Operations, including (Beeline execution, Process requisitions, Catalog Management, Help Desk, Vendor enablement, Governance and management of 3rd party operations including SLAs and metrics with a focus on identifying and resolving root cause issues to drive increased efficiency)
Partner with Sourcing and Business Services leaders to understand their needs and identify, communicate and execute 3rd party opportunities
Lead, develop and performance manage team members to create a highly performing team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
12+ years of professional work experience and 4+ years of people management experience
CRITICAL SKILLS :
5 10 years vendor management experience leading a variety of teams (size, complexity, etc.)
2-4 years experience in a project management environment with at least 1 year of leading a project
Must have experience with relationship building / collaborations with internal and external customers and leaders
Advanced skills in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Executive presence / excellent communication skills
10 25 % travel required to practices and internal meetings.
