  • Works with the Country Manager and other Heads of Function to influence the creation and communication of company strategy, business priorities, policies, and procedures and implement the same across the team
  • Ensures that the Borzo team complies with all policies and procedures relating to Information Security, Data Privacy, Health, and Safety, and influences any changes necessary to meet statutory requirements, ensuring minimum risk to staff members and the business.
  • Manages the security team and the quality assurance team and provides the necessary guidance to them
  • Communicate with legal counsel to ensure all processes across his department remain compliant with company and government rules and regulations
  • Discuss performance appraisals with employees; address employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.
  • Organizing the budget of the department in collaboration with Finance and Country Manager
  • Supervising employees, assessing the efficiency and technical proficiency of the team
  • Direct the department in helping resolve operational issues and monitor daily workflows to ensure operational needs are met.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work / military experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Supervisory or Managerial role
  • Certified Data Privacy Officer is desired but not required
  • At least a strong background on any of the following : Quality Assurance, Security and Data Privacy or minimum experience across all three
  • Ideal to have operations risk officer handling data protection, privacy, handling and classification experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Comfortable handling multiple cases
  • Strong analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Ability to organize and analyze factual evidence and provide documentation
  • Strong attention to detail
