You will become part of a team of lawyers, accountants and secretarial support that manages a portfolio of client companies with registered address in Singapore and Hong Kong.
You will strive to provide high quality services to your team and local offices. You are highly responsive face-to-face, by phone and / or e-
mail and you have a proactive attitude towards internal and external needs. You actively contribute in maintaining and expanding Citco’s business and help to maintain and improve Citco’s operational procedures.
Your key tasks and responsibilities are :
Management of legal aspects of client entities including special purpose vehicles involved in structured finance and financing transactions;
Management of corporate and legal processes in respect of new transactions, including review and negotiation of transaction documents;
General involvement with business law in multiple jurisdictions (assisting with incorporations, preparation of corporate minutes, resolutions, powers of attorney, etc.);
Support to statutory fillings;
Payment and payroll related functions;
Ensure that local, international and / or industry specific legal requirements are met;
Check, review and collect supporting documentation;
Communicate and coordinate with international clients, team members, managers and Citco offices worldwide;
Bachelor of Law
2 - 4 years of experience in a legal position with direct contact to multiple clients, preferably gained within an international law firm, financial institution or corporate services provider;
Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, adhere to strict deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills i.e. commercial and service minded
Responsible, reliable and excellent team player;
International background would be an advantage
Fluent English language (written and spoken); knowledge of other foreign languages would be an advantage
