Department Overview

    About the Role

    Managing a team supporting Server Environment includes supporting Windows and UNIX server Operating System,Server Hardware and Remote Datacenter Management


  • This role is responsible for the management of small-medium sized technology teams from EGS locations with the people management accountability.
  • This is a player - coach role (providing technical / functional hands on expertise and also act as a people manager)"

  • 8+ years of working experience in Server Infrastructure (Windows Unix) with at least 2 years’ experience in a Management Role.
  • Working Experience in an ITIL based Support model handling SLA based Incident / Change / Problem Management work.
  • Significant working experience with global partners and excellent written oral communication skills including status reporting.
  • Good working experience in Windows / Unix OS including Hardware Support and Maintenance (Dell, HP and IBM)
  • Microsoft / Solaris / RHEL certifications would be an advantage.
  • Project Management Knowledge Experience is a plus.
  • Market Skills and Certifications

    Essential Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related discipline
  • Experience of more than 3 years of people management
  • Microsoft / Solaris / RHEL certifications would be an advantage.
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Project Management Knowledge Experience is a plus.
